Each month, Classroom Central’s Mobile Free Store visits local school districts so teachers and staff can shop for the classroom supplies they need – for free. The Mobile Free Store visits each district (Gaston County, Iredell-Statesville, Union County, City of Kannapolis, and Lancaster County, South Carolina) every month. Volunteers make these visits possible by:

• Checking in teachers as they arrive
• Carrying pre-packed bags of supplies to cars
• Spreading smiles while supporting local educators

In return, volunteers earn Free Store shopping certificates for teachers — helping even more classrooms get the tools they need.

• Teachers: 3 volunteer hours = 1 extra Free Store trip
• Parents & Community Members: 6 volunteer hours = 1 shopping trip for a teacher
• Groups: Pool your hours to multiply your impact!
