Literacy Lending Library

Today’s students need more than just pencils and paper to succeed in school and beyond. Classroom Central’s Lending Library equips our partner educators at CMS with classroom kits of ready-to-use, hands-on resources for success in the classroom.

Classroom Central’s Lending Library has Literacy Kits available for all eligible educators.

LETTER LEARNING & HANDWRITING KIT

This kit can be used to teach your students how to write and identify lowercase and uppercase letters.

READING COMPREHENSION KIT

This kit is great for reinforcing key comprehension skills like, inferencing, cause & effect, main idea and details, just to name a few.

SIGHT WORD & SPELLING KIT

This kit will help your students learn to identify sight words and word families.

PHONICS KIT

This kit will allow you to teach beginning and ending blends to your students.

ESL-SPANISH KIT

This kit will help you teach English to Spanish speaking students.

CMS Educators:

Your account has been created for our new LENDING LIBRARY PLATFORM.

You can set your password by going to THIS WEB PAGE and entering your email address into the middle box. Once you’ve submitted the form, you will receive an email with your username and a link to set your password. Follow the link to create your password.

Once you’ve created a password, you can log in HERE by using the “Login” link at the top right of the page.

Please note that you use either the “username” you were assigned OR your email address to log into the reservation system for our lending library.

Once you are logged in, you can click on the “Inventory” link to view and reserve kits.

RESERVE A KIT

Educators who work at an eligible school can reserve one of our Literacy Kits online each month, based on availability. Reserved kits may be picked up at our Free Store at 2116 Wilkinson Blvd in Charlotte.
