LEARNING LOCKERS
LEARNING LOCKERS
Simplifying Access, Empowering Classrooms

The Learning Lockers initiative, sponsored by The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation, Carolina Panthers, and Charlotte FC, provides on-site access to essential classroom supplies and hygiene items. This new program works to meet teachers and students where they are – at school. Initially piloted at Nations Ford Elementary School and expanded to Northridge Middle School, Northeast Middle School, and Ridge Road Middle School, teachers and students can access necessary resources without added stress or barriers throughout the school year.
KEY PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Reduce Teacher Burdens

Support Student Learning and Well-Being

Foster A Positive & Productive Classroom Environment
PROGRAM BENEFITS

Increased Access to Needed Supplies for Students

Increased the Number of Teachers Served

Increased Ease of Use of Classroom Central’s Programs for Educators
How Does It Work?
Step 1: School Partnerships—This initiative, designed to address barriers preventing teachers and students accessing Classroom Central’s free supply programs, has been rolled out in four schools, but our goal is to place Learning Lockers in other schools based on their bell schedules and distance from Classroom Central.
Step 2: Learning Locker Installation—A designated space within selected schools will be transformed into an organized supply hub that teachers and students can access anytime.
Step 3: Stocking & Restocking—Supplies are stocked quarterly by the Classroom Central team, volunteers from sponsoring organizations, and school contacts.
Step 4: Impact & Sustainability—Inventory tracking ensures efficient use and restocking, so supplies are always available when needed.
