Why:
In honor of Black History Month, Frito Lay’s Mosaic team is living out this year’s theme of ‘Rise as One’ by giving back to our Charlotte community. 127,000 local students in high-need schools need our support more than ever this year with virtual learning happening in almost all schools. While most of the region’s students will be learning remotely, they’ll still take notes with pens, pencils and paper, stay organized with pocket folders, binders, and backpacks, and take art class with crayons, markers, and glue. Remote learning has actually increased the community’s need for supplies because classrooms can no longer share materials, and now even more families are experiencing financial hardships

When:
February 15^th – February 28^th

Who:
We invite anyone to donate and support our teachers and students. Your gifts will directly benefit Charlotte Metro area students in schools where 50% or more of the student population lives below the poverty line. Classroom Central distributes school supplies to students through its partner network of organizations that have direct access to students in need (including local housing organizations), as well as through teachers and school systems.
