In conjunction with National STEM day on November 8, 2017, Classroom Central launched a new section of the Free Store dedicated to STEM learning. This special section was made possible by Duke Energy | Piedmont Natural Gas.
The section highlights specific STEM lessons and offers the free materials that educators need to deliver the experiments.
An example of these experiments are:
Forces & Motion – Balloon Rocket
Forces & Motion – Pom Pom Catapult
Forces & Motion – Project Parachute
Forces & Motion – Paper Plate Roller Coaster
The goal of the section is to make it easier for teachers to deliver this important curriculum and lessen the time gathering supplies and vetting lessons. The Classroom Central team tests all lessons in advance and coordinates volunteers to prepare the materials.
Classroom Central is asking the public to help stock the STEM section by donating basic household items.
